Brian started his racing career in the banger formula at Autospeeds
Newton Abbot venue in 1989. Racing bangers until 1990 Brian made the step
up to hot rods at Newton Abbot at the start of the 1993 season and over
the course of the next 2 seasons went from being 3 laps down in his first
race to winning the West of England Championship at the end of 1994 in
what was unfortunatly Newton Abbots last ever meeting.
