FEATURE - Developing a bodyshape:

In a painstakingly long and boring process the car begins to take shape and as layer after layer of filler is applied and sanded down the shape slowly gets smoothed out and begins to look like the awesome racecar we eventually want to end up with. Now it is important to remember that this road car we’re applying all the filler and foam to is merely a ‘plug’

The 'plug' begins to take shape. Click here for more pics

Once it is finished and looking perfect it is only used to enable us to make the moulds which we will later use to make the actual panels for the racecar. To make these moulds the road car (which now looks like a racecar) is sectioned off into the various panels you want for the racecars.
