With the season only a few weeks away things have been busy at the garage ensuring we have two cars ready! The new pistons have arrived for Brians engine which can now be assembled while Ross’ engine and gearbox has been fitted to his 206….although the engine mountings need altering somewhat as the engine is hanging out the bottom of the car at present! Still, once we fix that the 206 will be nearly ready with only a few smaller jobs left.

Brians Tigra meanwhile has been having some work carried out on it while it waits for its engine with the floor being altered to allow the seat to be mounted lower. This should ensure Brian can now fit in the car without his head sticking out the roof! The plan is to shake the cars down at Mendips practice day on March 6th before heading upto Buxton the following day for the first meeting of the year.
