Drama on the way to World Qualifying Round 5!

The drama started before we even reached the track for world qualifier round 5 as the Loram Racing team were pulled over by the police before being giving a prohabition order due to an overweight vehicle.

After a quick look round it seemed the easiest way to lose a few hundered kilograms would be to lose the crew! So Brian headed off to Northampton on his own while the rest of the team awaited Karl to find them and take them to the meeting, certainly some strange circumstances!

Some stranded team members!

Onto the racing then and a very possible third place went missing in race 1 with a spin due to the new brakes not yet being set-up correctly. Race 2 went much better and a 9th place finish was achieved from the rear of the grid while 12th position in the huge 28 car final also brought more welcome points home, this being the first meeting the team have scored points in all 3 races. Work is now underway on the car set-up before the next meeting at Birmingham on the 29th October.
