Winter season plans announced! - 01 / 10 / 05

I’m pleased to announce our plans for the 2005/06 winter season have been confirmed. We will be competing in both our local clubs (TRAK) winter series as well as the South West Series.

The South West Series is a large indoor series held every winter with meetings in Torquay, Plymouth and St.Austell. This year the series promises to be better than ever with the racing limited to just two classes, 1/12th with any motor and 27T Stock Touring which is the class we will be competing in. This should ensure full grids and better more competitive racing. The pre-glued Sorex 24R will make sure everyone’s on an even footing in the 9 round series (best 6 to count) As an added bonus this year the series is sponsored by Schumacher and Demon Products, we thank them for their support.

The South West Series racedates are:

Round 1 - October 30th Torquay
Round 2 - November 13th St Austell
Round 3 - November 27th Plymouth
Round 4 - December 18th Torquay
Round 5 - January 29th St Austell
Round 6 - February 12th Plymouth
Round 7 - February 26th Torquay
Round 8 - March 12th St Austell
Round 9 - March 26th Plymouth

We’ll be going all out to win this series but it won’t be easy with the new car to adapt to on carpet and the high quality of competition. We’re also looking to defend our TRAK Indoor Championship from last year, the season kicking off on the 8th October this year, it’s sure going to be a busy winter! ?
