Third place at South West Series opener - 16 / 09 / 04

The opening round of this seasons South West Series was held at Plymouth where the local TRAK drivers were joined by drivers from Plymouth and Cornwall. Practise showed that Justin Landeau and Rod Ingo from the St.Austell club were going to be contenders and despite trading best times with them throughout qualifying Ross just missed out and started the final from third on the grid behind Justin and Rod but in front of local rivals Malcom, Michael etc

At the start of the final the top three moved away and Ross made it past Rod into second only to suffer grip roll a lap later which dropped him back to third, this is how it stayed till the end with Justin taking the win from Rod and Ross with the others miles back.

It looks like this series will see some really tough competition across the next 11 meetings :)
