Championship in the bag - 20 / 02 / 05

With just two rounds of the TRAK Indoor season left after today Ross holds a convincing championship lead that has all but secured him the 2004/04 championship.

During todays meeting Ross had to fight hard against the unusually brisk Adrian Webb to take third on the grid behind Michael Doody and Rod Mingo for the final. A clash at the start between 4th placed Adrian and 5th placed Jason Guy gave the top three drivers a gap and Ross slotted into second a few laps in after a mistake by Rod. The pair lapped consistently until the 4 minute mark when Rod threw it away with a series of accidents. So it was Michael who took a convincing win from Ross with Rod third.

It has also been decided which championship Ross will be running in this summer - expect an announcement tommorow.
