Some History
I race 1/10th Touring Cars and have done since 2001 when
I made the step up from Ministock racing. I’ve steadily improved racing
at local clubs over the years and stepped up to national competition in
2004 doing a few rounds of the Schumacher BTCC during the summer. Back in
2004 I raced the Modified class and we had a great 4th place in the ‘A’
Final when the BTCC visited Snetterton in July 2004. I switched to the 27T
Stock Class for the start of my local clubs 2004 / 2005 indoor series as
all the other top drivers had done so. I won the local series at the TRAK
club and finished 4th in the South West Series, also during late 2004, early
2005.

During the summer months of
2005 we returned for our second season of national competition, this
time entering the highly competitve STCC. With entries of between 40-50
drivers every meeting in our 27T Stock Class we managed to finish 10th
overall in the championship after completing 7 of the 8 rounds, taking
6 'B' Final positions and 1 'A' final outing at Milton Keynes near the
end of the season as we became more and more competitive during the
year. |

We had also been competing at our home club (TRAK) during
the summer although did not complete enough rounds to challenge for the
championship. Towards the end of 2005 however we returned to TRAK to defend
our 27T stock indoor championship, just missing out and finishing second
to the very brisk Justin Landau and managing third overall in the South
West Series. After not racing during the summer of 2006 we returned to racing
at TRAK for the 2006/07 Indoor season which we won by some distance while
also narrowly beating Mike Doody to the Team Scream TRAK Challenge victory.
Summer 2007 sees us entering the Schumacher BTCC, wish us luck!

I take my racing seriously but still have fun with it, I
also run this website dedicated to my racing which is building up more regular
visitors all the time and getting good reviews. I believe I can professionally
represent your company at local and national competition and promote the
company through sign writing on my car, teamwear, logos and links on my
website and through talking to my fellow drivers.
